Barrett Dye

Mr. Dye is originally from Perryton, Texas. He received his Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. He received his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University. Mr. Dye has served his community in a number of different service and charitable organizations including his service on the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America, the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters Wheatheart Satellite, the Board of Directors for the Perryton Rodeo Association, and membership in Lion’s Club International.


Prior to joining Bethune Enright, PLLC, Mr. Dye served a term as County and District Attorney for Ochiltree County, Texas, and at the time of his election to office was believed to be the youngest elected felony prosecutor in the State of Texas. During his term, Mr. Dye handled a wide range of issues from government administration, Department of Family and Protective Services, Juvenile law, employment law, advising local law enforcement agencies, handling government contracts, and prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes.


While Mr. Dye joins the firm with vast experience in Criminal Law and government practice, he will also expand his practice to include general plaintiff litigation, family law, estate planning, personal injury, and wrongful death cases.
